Hello cleanse friends I would like to share my first experience using internal cleanse. I am a 47 year old guy, who has spent the last 30+ years over indulging and polluting my body with excess alcohol and a terrible diet and a lack of regular exercise. With the Corona virus occurring, I found I was stuck at home and had a huge amount of free time. I decided this was the ideal opportunity to make some healthy changes. A good friend suggested I started by detoxing and introduced internal cleanse. This friend is a health professional and runs his own clinic. He said he had tried almost every detox or cleanse system and internal cleanse was by far the most comprehensive and effective, and he insisted I should not waste my time on any other cleanse. So, we decided to do this cleanse together, opting for the 60 plan. I choose that for two reasons. Firstly, with the lifestyle I have been living, I felt a shorter plan would probably not yield the benefits I desired. Secondly, I wanted to use the cleanse to help me break some bad habits and the longer I am on the cleanse the more time I am off all the other unhealthy things. For this cleanse I have given up drinking, smoking, fast food, dining out or takeaways, and I eat mostly whole foods and unprocessed foods, and have cut out sugar completely. I only drink water and the Klenz tea, which I love the taste of and intend to stock in my cupboard for regular consumption. I am now 22 days into the cleanse and things are going great. I have managed to stick to my eating and drinking plan. I record my daily routine, such as the cleanse products I have taken, the amount of water I drink daily, to ensure I am drinking between 3 to 4L per day. I also measure my weight and record any changes I notice in my body or my mood... This motivated me to start a new record of my daily exercise and to buy kitchen scales and start to weigh out my food to ensure I am eating within my daily calorie limit and eating a balance of healthy fats, proteins and carbs. I also added a 48 hour fast into my routine, which I did before I started the cleanse, and again at day 16 and 17, and I will continue to do it at fortnightly intervals. I am also new to fasting. So, why tell you all this and why now? You might be thinking that I am only 22 days in, so how can I offer a review at this premature stage. You are correct, I am not trying to review the entire cleanse experience. However, something interesting happened to me on day 15. I was working out and started to feel itchy on the back of my left hand. The itch intensified and I had a closer look and I noticed a rash on the back of my wrist and forearm. I just assumed it was a heat rash from sweating. However, it got worse and formed into a bumpy red rash that went up the entire arm. I have only once ever experienced something like that before. My brother had given me Tramedol for back pain and I accidentally took double the dose not understanding his instructions. I then had an allergic reaction, presenting as the same rash as was developing on my left arm and faintly appearing on my right arm. I went to the pharmacy and showed the pharmacist. She immediately said I was having an allergic reaction and gave me medication. The thing that was perplexing was that I have never been allergic to anything and I had not introduced anything new into my diet or been in any new environments. Later that day my twin brother called and I told him. He knew I was on the detox, because unlike me he does regular cleanses and fasts and had been trying to get me to join him for years. I am the evil twin as you can probably tell. Anyway, he said that it is not uncommon to have a reaction to the toxins that are being cleansed out of your body and suggested I contact Internal Cleanse and ask them about it. I was rather impressed if it was the cleanse, as that reaction could be a sign the cleanse is actually doing its job and toxins were being flushed out. I contacted customer care and told them my situation and asked if there is something in their cleanse products that I might be allergic to and if others on the cleanse have had similar experiences. They replied within hours and told me that it is unlikely the products themselves would cause an allergic reaction, but to be safe, if my condition doesn't improve I should stop the cleanse and seek professional medical advice. They also said that others have experienced similar reactions and the body can react to the elimination of toxins through the skin. I was rather excited that I was having such a reaction, and I decided to continue with the cleanse and ride it out. Three days later the rash disappeared almost as quickly as it came on. Since then I have not experienced any sign of the rash returning, I am still taking the full range of cleanse products and only took the anti-allergy medication for one day, and I didn't change my diet or daily routine, so clearly the most logical explanation is that my body had a significant, and in my opinion, a positive reaction to the cleanse and expelled toxins from body and return to normal once the toxins were eliminated. I am really happy with the cleanse and will continue to record my journey. I am also overwhelmed by the customer care and support from the Internal Cleanse team. I share this as my experience, not as advice if you have a reaction, please do as I have done and seek professional advice and communicate with the internal cleanse support staff. I have used this product for years and it helps all around gut health.The latest mix leaves the heavier particles in the bottom of the glass. Many years ago it was not quite so finely chopped and was easier to use.
