Great product for thyroid med users
Over ten percent of the U.S. population takes Levothyroxin for thyroid support and I am one of them. The problem is, this medication draws calcium from bones and teeth. To counter this effect I take vitamin K2 MK-7. I found this supplement in 300 mcg strength and really like it. I wanted a MenaQ7 product that had a dosage of more than 100 mcg so this 300 mcg dosage fit the bill. Before taking this I had a 100 mcg product that I took three times a day. Now I take one capsule each morning with Barlean's organic flax oil. I empty a capsule onto a spoon then add the flax oil and swallow it (I can't swallow capsules). K2 MK-7 has been shown to leach deposits from arteries and deposit them in bones and teeth. If this truly works (I hope it does!) then Osteomate is a great choice for me. I also take Gutmate which is their probiotic product. And I take vitamin D and iodine (again, for the thyroid). If you are currently using a Levothyroxin product (I use Euthyrox) then consider using Osteomate to counter the effects of the thyroid medicine.
